Tonight was the opening for the Rock’n’Roll photo exhibit at the Minneapolis Photo Center. There were some *amazing* photos on display, and I was pretty honored to have my own work included in the bunch. And you know what else? It was PACKED. Which was also so fun! I saw a ton of friends at the show (some photographers, many not) and special thanks to those of you who came out to support my work — I really appreciate it!
For your internet share today, this is why I was never in a sorority. Clearly, my hair is not up to par (both wavy and a color “not found in nature”). I won’t even talk about my fingernails.

I saw your photo today! It was awesome. And nice to be in the place when it isn’t crowded. While I do enjoy an opening reception that brings in a lot of people, it is also nice to be there in the quiet and take my time. I was nervous though because I didn’t have a photo that was accepted for the exhibit. I was nervous because I thought I would be defensive, but the exhibit photos were awesome and it was great to see yours right as I came up the stairs!

Hi Manisha! I’m so glad you went and soaked in the photography — I agree, there were some amazing pieces on display. Super inspirational for me as well!
