Look! That right there is a fresh, hot raised donut with maple frosting and a slice of bacon on top. Mmmhmmm. This morning we ventured over to St. Paul to check out the new Mojo Monkey donut shop in town. Since I’m on this diet, I just had a few bites of a krueller with chocolate frosting and one or two pumpkin-egg-nog donut holes. Jamie got a Mocha Mousse which was infused with espresso-chocolate mousse.
I was also tempted by the Elvis Fritter which was banana flavored donut with caramel, peanut butter and chocolate. However, I decided that just might be too rich for my blood.
