Tonight, after watching the nightmare that was the Kansas basketball game, I met up with some friends at the Minneapolis Photo Center. My buddy Stacy had a print in their gallery show that just opened, and I could not be more proud of her. The exhibit included about 70 black and white photographs, and it was a great show (and especially fun to see friends’ work on display).
Afterward, a few of us wandered over to the Red Stag for their late night happy hour and continued to catch up. I’m not sure if we’re just all so busy or what the deal is, but I feel like I used to see this gang 2-3 times a week out at shows, and this winter we’ve only seen each other maybe twice a month (if that). Next week Stacy’s down in Texas with me, however, so I’ll get a good fix in then :).
I shot this photo in a stairwell of the photo center. I liked that you can see the downtown skyline out the window, but the stairs, bricks and Stacy are all reflected behind me as well.
