estamos aqui!
Hola todos de mis amigos! And if you speak Spanish, please do not bother correcting my grammer in my second language! Gracias!
We arrived in Barcelona this morning around 8:15, and by the time we cleared customs and found our way into the city via the train, it was just before 10 am. We checked into our apartment and proceeded to spend the next three hours working as hard as we could to stay awake. Finally, a little after 1, when we realized the city was about to close down for the afternoon siesta, we decided to embrace the culture and go to sleep. BEST. DECISION. EVER.
The photo above is from the Mediterranean coast. I never thought I would see this body of water in my lifetime, and I feel so fortunate to be here on this amazing trip. If you want more photos and details from our day, I've posted a small summary
over here. I'll try to keep this up each day. Enjoy!
Leslie! These photos are gorgeous! It looks like you guys had an excellent first day there. :)
La Boqueria!!!
that seriously was one of my favorite things in Barcelona.
we stayed just down the street from it on La Rambla and got fresh fruit & juice there almost every morning for breakfast.
so jealous :)
Amazing!!! Thanks for letting us share the journey with you!!
