more bugs

I wasn't intending this to be Insect Week on Shuttersmack, but look what I found on the side of the house today! This dragonfly was huge... as in, I noticed it from the street and pulled BACK into the driveway to see if it was a baby bat (we get those sometimes). Anyway, I couldn't resist this color or the details in the wings, so I had to take a few photos.

In other news, today is my Friday and I get to sleep in tomorrow and not go to the office full of construction workers building pipes around my desk! That might not be a very big deal to you guys, but it sure is to me. See you on the other side, kids!
