ready for summer

Tonight was the Oscars, which I work every year to help out with the fashion page. And in the time-honored tradition, we all bring food so we'll have a nice spread while working on a Sunday night. I am so ready for the warm weather that I couldn't resist these lovelies, and I made tomato salad with fresh mozzarella, basil and fresh pepper. I thought it would cure my longing for July, but what do you know, it made it worse. Good thing I'm heading south in t-minus eight days.
