insanity

These kite skiers have been all over the lakes this winter. And part of me is jealous because it looks like a total blast out there -- letting the wind lift you off the ice for tricks and speed etc. But this week, I think these guys are just plain crazy. The last two days it has reached at least 60 degrees in the Twin Cities. This morning, parts of Lake Harriett were melted completely and ducks were out there bathing. So no, I don't think I would want to walk out there onto thin ice for this sport. It is, however, thrilling to watch.
