In a room with Prince
This is one of my many shots from The Current's birthday party at First Ave tonight. I took waaaaayyy too many photos (it was a long show, people!) and it has taken me almost 2 hours just to edit the shots down to the "vital" 500. Yeah, you don't even want to know.
Anyway, this is a shot that is straight from the camera. No photoshop trickery at all, just pure saturation from the lights. He's the guitarist for Solid Gold, who were the headliners tonight. Meh, that band is OK. But you know who was fan-fucking-tastic? P.O.S. I just love watching/shooting that guy live. And you know what else? Prince was there. Yes, Him. He came to show support for the station, but alas he did not play. Still pretty cool though.

I'm a fan of the Solid Gold album but yeah, live that night didn't do much for me. But P.O.S. was indeed fan-fucking-tasting. What a performance. My favorite of the night by far.
